What is side mount diving?

Side mount diving is a configuration where you carry one or more cylinders at your sides rather than on your back. This provides greater comfort, streamlining, and flexibility both above and below the water.

Do I need previous experience to take this course?

You need to be a certified Open Water Diver. Prior experience with buoyancy and trim control is helpful, but not required — we’ll help you develop these skills throughout the course.

How long does the course take?

The PADI Side Mount Course is conducted over 2 days, including both theory sessions and multiple training dives.

Do I need to complete a diver medical form?

Yes. All divers are required to complete a medical statement. If you answer ‘Yes’ to any conditions on the form, you will need medical clearance from a physician before participating.

Is equipment rental included?

Yes, rental of side mount equipment and air fills are included as part of the course package.
