As a Divemaster, you’ll guide dives, assist instructors, and become a role model to divers around the world. Whether you’re looking to start a career in diving or just take your skills to the highest non-instructor level, this course opens the door.
What You’ll Learn:
• Leadership & Supervision: Learn how to organise and supervise diving activities, both recreational and training-related.
• Assisting with Courses: Work alongside instructors to support students in confined water, open water, and during surface skills.
• Risk Management & Safety: Understand how to assess dive conditions, manage groups, and respond to emergencies.
• Advanced Dive Skills: Refine your diving techniques to demonstration quality—hovering, mask clearing, rescue scenarios, and more.
• Dive Theory: Gain in-depth knowledge of dive physics, physiology, equipment, the environment, and the PADI system of education.
Course Includes:
• Knowledge development through self-study and instructor-led sessions
• Waterskills assessments and stamina tests
• Practical application sessions and real-world training scenarios
• Professional mentorship and hands-on experience with real students
Prerequisites:
• PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
• 18 years old
• 40 logged dives to start, 60 to certify
• Current EFR certification (within 24 months)
• Medical clearance to dive
