Whether you’re exploring cold lakes, temperate oceans, or gearing up for year-round diving, a dry suit keeps you warm, dry, and diving longer.
What You’ll Learn:
• Dry Suit Types & Features: Understand the different styles of dry suits, valve systems, seals, and undergarments.
• Buoyancy Control in a Dry Suit: Learn how to manage air in the suit and adjust your weight and trim for proper buoyancy.
• Putting On and Caring for a Dry Suit: Practice proper donning, doffing, and maintenance to keep your suit in top shape.
• Emergency Procedures: Learn how to handle problems like uncontrolled ascents, suit floods, or air migration inside the suit.
Course Includes:
• A confined water orientation dive
• At least two open water dives in a dry suit
• Practice buoyancy control, emergency drills, and descent/ascent techniques
• Tips on undergarments, layering, and thermal protection
Prerequisites:
• PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
• Minimum age: 10 years
